It must be replaced with a new one every time the system is activated (garment inflation).

The jacket comes with a wrench that allows for quick cartridge replacement.

The cartridge can last indefinitely, but as a precaution, it could be changed annually, and it must be replaced at the first sign of oxidation or surface deterioration.
