"Hello everyone!
My name is Esther Modroño Pérez, I'm 32 years old and I'm from Vigo (Pontevedra).
I am a professional equestrian, as a rider and trainer. I started riding at 4 years old, as my sister practiced this sport at the time; and what started as a hobby, ended up becoming my livelihood.
I have always had the support of my family, and this has been fundamental to my development as a rider.
Currently, I live in Barcelona, where my partner runs an equestrian club. That's where we have our base of operations.
In terms of sport, I compete internationally in 1.45 m events, traveling all over Europe.
My daily routine consists of riding my horses and those of my clients, either to prepare them for competition or for future sale.
We also have a stable for trading sport horses.
Living from horses is very demanding; but if you truly have a passion for it, it's the most beautiful job there is.
I try to learn as much as possible from them, each horse is a world unto itself. Understanding them and getting them to bring out the best in themselves to build a good partnership is always the main goal. To eventually become one.
Never set limits for yourself. In this sport, there is only perseverance, hard work, and the desire to improve day by day."
